If you are building a site in a language other than English, the Site Language feature allows you to translate certain elements into your target language. Simply select your target language and the built-in text on several widgets will be translated into your target language automatically. The widget text has been pre-translated and cannot be customized.
Note
This feature should not be mistaken for the Add and Manage Multiple Languages, which translates all text on the site using Google Translate.
To configure your site language:
-
In the left panel, click SEO & Settings, and then click Site Language.
-
If you are changing the default language to a language that has already been added to your site, click the dropdown menu next to the default language and select from the existing languages. If you want to add a default language that was not previously added to your site, click Manage Languages and select a new language.
